Can I ask if I've been lowballed? 5 yrs of working exp (4 in public and 1 in private), quoted 4.5k in a ministry. 4 yrs in public are relevant to the job. No NS, 2:1 from NUS.

my guess is for public service, they will give the merit increment for every year relevant to job.
for public service, won't get as much an increment when job hopping in private sector

You will still get your mid and year end bonuses in 2018 though.

Thanks. May I know roughly how much is the confirmation increment after 1 yr and will that affect merit increment in Apr 2019?

Hi, anyone working or has worked at JTC Corp? How is the remuneration/salary package/bonuses/benefits as compared to the average ministry /statboard?

JTC's package should be not too bad as it's under MTI (economic stat boards tend to have decent salaries ans bonuses). However pls do read up or find out more about the working culture; I think officers there suffer from poor work-life balance and are severely overloaded.
