for my stat board, was $3k for female fresh grad and $3.2k fresh grad in 2011. But there was a 7% pay increment in mid of 2011..not sure whether the increment is applicable to other stat boards though...

Can share which stat board or under which ministry? Cos i wanted to find out about starting pays for freshies at ministry vs stat boards but could really find nothing. And this female fresh grad u mentioned, what class of honours did she get? Local u or distance learning? Thanks!

They are more disgruntled complain king workers than trolls. Trollls put out controversial comments to spark reaction, these 2 just bitch about NEA & STE in every thread they take part.

At least now the younger ones are informed of the slow salary increments in STE because of rotating door culture. I think that's valuable info for those who is considering whether to join civil service or STE or other private sectors.

Most people would know gov / gov related salary progress slower than pte, that is nothing new. Besides we dont need >500 posts from the 2 of them to know that.
