Can I know what the classification is?

First class honours
Second upper
Second lower
Third

Does every level add extra money, or is it by groups e.g. FCH has $x more, and the rest are treated the same?
From what I observed, every layer has a difference of about $200-300.

Default gross monthly salary

i'm confused with the gross monthly salary column under LOA! My verbal offer was about 3.6-7k, and my LOA writes 4k with *breakdown of % of basic salary, MVC, NPC and NPVP. I'm fresh grad, second upper. Is the increment adjusted based on my second upper classification? or is it the initial verbal offer didn't include the variable components? thanks!

I'm drawing around 145k pa (base + salary) in a stat board with 10yrs of experience.

Is it possible to jump to other statboards or ministries with seemingly easier roles like PA, MSF etc and without a pay cut?

I read from previous posts that HR will usually match our current salary if we are moving within govt sector. How true is this?

What! This is insane.

Could you confirm that really the verbal offer is different from the LOA?

I thought the gross monthly salary is irrespective of any bonuses etc.

Btw why is your range 3.6-7 which is so high? Did you not get an exact number? Willing to share?

Firstly, i think the poster was trying to say that the verbal offer ranged from 3.6 to 3.7K (not 7k, haha).

Second, to the poster, i think the verbal offer was just an under-estimation. Now that the actual offer is higher, u are not complaining, correct? haha

Do you know your title and grade yet? Your starting point is actually quite important as it can take you more or less years to progress further.
Asking bootlickers to assess people for performance what could go wrong. LOL
