Should I accept the offer?

I think ultimately it depends on individual's preference. I would encourage TS to go ahead and not think too much about security. There is no certainty in the job market. Every decision has a trade off. If you feel you should accept the offer then go for it. Personally, I have been in the private sector all this while as I prefer to be in a dynamic environment. Never wanted to be in the CS. I don't really bother about job security because nothing is really certain in this world.

The only way to reduce risk close to none is to make so much to have enough net worth to generate solid income. The rest all subject to changes anytime. That's why I chose pte sector to maximise my pay with the intention to generate at least 12k a month passive income to retire by 40.
