Locum FM here. Rates are around $100-$120 an hour, with some chains paying more if you have a MMED. Hours depend on your preference and negotiation with the clinic. Typically around 8-10 hours a day. Some 24 hour clinics pay more if you do the night shift (9pm-6am).

I am making around $25000 a month, give or take. This is working 5.5 days a week on average. If you are willing to work on weekends, you might earn even more.

Seems like locum mbbs = at least 3x MMED salary.
