Any thoughts on Temasek statement on foreign hires? Are the concerns applicable to legal industry?

I assume that if they advertise for legal secretary position that means they need a secretary. I guess job market is tough, competition is fierce even for a legal sec position.

Cant say here la. So many eyeballs. Got equity partner. Got inhouse counsel. Got lecturer. Got lawyer. Got student. Got secretary. This forum waiting for a law suit with huge damages given the number of views or some heavy criminal penalty.

Singaporeans are mostly ballless cowards, I have no sympathy if you lose your jobs to foreigners. May your sons and daughters become domestic servants to highly paid foreigners.

If you are doing work requiring a right of audience (i.e. litigation) or SG-law related work don't need to be that afraid. For Corp work etc, there has always been a huge amount of foreign lawyers at the int firms, nothing much has changed or will change.

What vitriol. I am deeply offended by your comment and I am going to lodge a police report against you.
