Last I heard, Abbots Chambers is also hiring.
Although you may want to be prepared for different hiring models. I've also heard of smaller firms that are bringing on very junior assocs (even NQE) on a "eat what you kill" basis. Meaning you get paid nothing or practically nothing, but if you bring in your own clients, you can keep most of it!

It wasn't that near, and there is a pay freeze starting around 4 pqe (caps at around $9k) unless you bring in your own business. Unless you have your own clients you just get stuck with the same salary till you quit.

Clocking pqe in nameless Chinatown firm isn't worth jack ****. Not all pqe is equal. Might as well work in ministry or statboard.

Why? I thought you can get very good experience there early on? Conduct trials or handle matters on your own at 1-2 PQE etc.?
