Work life balance either in house or legal service.
since life is so tough in practice, why are people even staying or joining?

Default Doing ptc

Is there any hope for me if I have a second lower Uk delisted Uni degree? Already doing my TC at a pretty good corporate firm but not enjoying the work given. It was quite similar during my RLT at the same firm but worse now because a few partners with good work left to go in house. Should I just persevere and stay on but there is also a high chance might not get retained?

2:2 from a delisted uni and from a very good corporate firm.
U have connections. Or is either handsome/pretty and have an accent.
So why you worry?

Yes it always feels good when the money comes in. Then I’ll think it’s all worth it. After all we do earn a lot more than other graduates (excluding investment banking). Average starting salary of local U grads from recent salary survey is only 3.3k, with 200 dollar increment per year. Ours is easily double, triple, quadruple.
