What about civil servants ? Pay between private sector and public can be wide.

Mail, unfortunately the MOM survey covers private sector jobs only. But I believe many people perceive that public sector jobs generally pay less than the private sector, except for senior positions/appointments (of course).

i refer to Abuurrahman.Like he has stated, Lecturers, tutors and Academic line jobs have not been stated. A rough idea of the salary of Junior College Lecturer would be appreciated or a lecturer of any sector for the matter of fact. I do belive they earn alot, considering their education level and status. so please do include the above mentioned. thanks

Dear Hareni, most Junior College lecturers are under the strength of MOE, hence the posting (Primary, Secondary or JC) has no bearing on the pay. The pay is pegged at your educational qualifications and whether you are a post-holder. You can refer to MOE for the starting pay. Please do not assume that they earn alot.
