legal service manager, legal officer, advocate and solicitor and lawyer..what are the differences of these jobs in singapore?

I'm not a lawyer, but from this link :
"Solicitors are lawyers who give legal advice to clients and prepare legal documents and cases. Solicitors often specialise in different areas: there are, for example, family law solicitors and company law solicitors."
... which I interpret to mean that solicitors are lawyers with specialized skills. More senior maybe.
I suppose legal service managers and legal officers also play specialized roles.
I'm really not too sure... can any lawyer reading give some free advice?

jgm re your question on the difference between legal service manager, legal officer, advocate and solicitor and lawyer:
legal service manager, legal officer would both refer to inhouse lawyers who work as employees of companies. They usually have titles such as the above or Legal advisor, Corporate counsel etc.
advocate and solicitor would refer to lawyers in private practice who coud be employed by a law firm or be self employed.
Lawyer is extremely vague and could refer to any of the above.
