Why not? If u stay until Jan, school has no head counts to get a replacement only after u leave. But if you leave in December, school has whole December to look out for a replacement. From staffing planning’s point of view, it’s better to let u go earlier than later.

lol up to you bro, you can always find out from your school admin. I served 1 month notice and last day falls 31/12 get my 7th year connect plan and year end bonuses.

My last day is on 31 Jan 2024.

Spoke to my SLs and called MOE hotline. If you want the year end bonus and connect plan, it must be at least 31 Dec. If you want that month's salary, it must be until the last day of that month.

After you have registered in REMS, HQ HR will invite you to fill up a form and after verification, they will email you the unique link to join the TG official channel.
