(Once again, correct me if I'm wrong) The advancement structure as the following (shall stop at director):
Bank Executive -> Analyst -> Associate -> AVP -> VP -> SVP -> Director
1) What is the estimated time to advance to next position for FO as well as BO, assume that one's performance is good?
2) What are the grades in each position, assuming there is such grading?
3) What is the salary to be expected at each position?
4) What is the norm for the annual increment, assuming the one's performance is good?
Hope you guys are willing to share such information! No sarcasm please, as this is for the sake of sharing only. Thank you!

Thanks for sharing, it is insightful! People would agree the pay range is rather huge which is totally normal in banking where your pay hinges largely on your previous salary.
Perhaps a more detailed breakdown would be to understand the following:
1. Associate -> Senior Associate
How many years on average to promote from Assoc -> S. Associate?
What is the pay increase?
2. Senior Associate -> AVP
How many years on average to promote from S. Associate -> AVP
What is the pay increase?

no lah
DBS pay philosophy is based on Annual Total Compensation. Which means you shouldn't look only at your monthly guaranteed cash.
i.e - if you had a low monthly basic salary but do above average/good performance for the year. Ur Variable bonus will get a bump to match your peers at the same rank on the annual total comp.
There are also no more bank executives. The name has been changed.
Bank Executive C change to Assistant Officer
Bank Executive B change to Officer
Bank Executive A change to Senior Officer
At the Assistant Officer/Officer/Senior Officer rank, you get a 13th bonus (AWS) as part of ur guaranteed cash. After you get promoted to Analyst, the 13th month bonus gets embedded into your monthly basic and you will stop receiving the AWS.

Thank you for sharing the new ranking terminology. Could you extend it further beyond Sr. Officer?
Assistance Officer
Officer
Senior officer
Analyst
Senior Analyst
Associate
Senior Associate
...
...
?
Any idea how much bonus in total on average?

By the way I was an Associate at DBS and my pay was high 3K only, so to say Associate is 5k is not exactly true.
For both #1 and #2, the increment is anything from 8% to 15% range. If you go less or more than this range, either you are damn bad or damn good.
For Assoc to Sr Assoc, takes about 2-3 yers.
For Sr Assoc to AVP, takes about 2-5 years, averagely shld be 3 years for normal ppl.
