I'm a CS who lateralled. From experience, SBs/ministries can move fast - if they want to. I've received interview invites as quickly as 1 week from my application, then about another week before 2nd interview, and a verbal offer 3 - 5 days later. A verbal offer seems to be the norm, as they need more time to sort out the paperwork.

Total time from application to acceptance, 2-3 weeks.

The HR called to get more info, and said they’ll get back within two weeks. They’re currently busy with multiple applications so the process is taking longer than usual.
