In process means they have seen your resume but may or may not shortlist you for an interview. Some hr will call you when your status is in process, some will change the in process status to shortlist before they call. All dependent on them

That’s considered fast. I was informed by the hr that it will take 3 to 4 weeks for clearance so I am patiently waiting. Are you satisfied with your pay offered too?

Can treat it as an interview. I am guessing that they probably did their interviews once and either did not find anyone suitable, or their preferred candidate declined, or another position came up because someone else quit.

Depends on your years of experience and whether the role is a step up.
For me, i worked 15+ years and got a 20% cut, probably because i could not get a step up role. Still on the fence as i have young and old mouths to feed.
