So mine is the same as yours about 8 weeks, just that yours require additional info and thus took slightly longer. I cant think of anything else beside clearance that require 8 weeks.

I do know some private companies also require clearance but that usually happened after hired so the wait is "transparent" as candidate already joined the company. PS require clearance to be cleared before they confirmed the candidate.

Security clearance does take time.. cos its submitted and done not by HR but by another agency. Basic clearance does take long, but if higer CAT level, then much longer.

Can i go ahead apply it or i have to go thru HR or manager first.
Will the hiring manager go contact current HR or manager?
Lets say from MAS to MTI. Tech role.

2 weeks into waiting for my clearance in a sb. wanted to be mentally prepared for the pay since im from private.

Please go ahead and apply for it via [email protected]. It would be a good practice if you could also keep your Reporting Officer informed that you are looking at other opportunities, especially as the HR from the hiring agency would likely need to contact the HR of your current agency, if the former is keen to offer.

hi all... is it safe to assume that my application is rejected if they have not gotten back to me two weeks after the assessment? can anyone advise? thanks!
