Default Perf Grade

Could anyone confirm that we would obtain default C 1 year after promotion?
If there any exception case?
I was nominated for Caring Tr Award and MSEA Silver Awards as a 2-year BT.
Thank you.

Default C is probably, well, the default - but plenty of exceptions. As long as you have performed well and ranking panel recognises that, doesn't have to be a C.

Did it affect anything? Definitely not my salary. CEP? I doubt so. Impression that people have on you, yes. 10 years down the road, I don't think it has much effect on anything.
Agree! I got a distinction for practicum too. And distinction overall for PGDE. This does not change anything though. Nobody will ask you about your grades - not your colleagues or SLs.. no one. Unless you blow your own trumpet (which can make you look arrogant), really your results is just a testament of how well you did in your teacher training. Being a trained teacher, on the other hand, is different. You have to consistently apply what you have learnt and have the children's interest at heart. Only then the results that you had achieved mean something

Information about teachers' work and life are publicly available through news reports and less reliably, forums like this. Can Google a bit.

The way you phrased your question - is life indeed better - where did you get the information that life is better? From the private sector?
Just an observation. I have a cousin and also a friend who are both teachers. I find them very stubborn and argumentative when we dont share the same views. Is it a work habit to admonish anything that is not in tandem with their beliefs?

when the economy is doing well, private sector rejoice with more than 18 months salary and high salary increments... civil servants rarely get paid that much bonus and increments are lower. isn't this the trade-off? the price to pay for being in the private sector? don't get why you are dissing civil servants when they are expecting a pay increment at this point in time.

There’s also another difference. Teachers get to bang their students. Private service people get to bang hot office ladies. Expecially those in cbd many chio bu in tight mini skirts.
