2.65 for GEO 5 HOD -> what’s the pb grade?
Feels underpaid, given portfolio and being the only GEO 5 HOD in the school

Think this is the current scale for GEO (since 2021):
A 2.65-3.3
B 2.15-2.6
C+ 1.5-2.1
C 1.2-1.45
C- 0.5-0.95
D 0

For those who just completed practicum in 2021 March, PB will be pro rated right? I.e. 0.75 for work done April - dec. Amount reflected on Workpal is the pro rated amount right?

Looks like an A, but quite near the border between A/B (in case of miscalculation...)
It's easy to underappreciated for now, but it's really for the short term. Promotion will probably come soon enough, and actually the (likely) drop in PB once you hit SEO will mean the annual increase for promotion year might not be as high as you think. Of course, the higher ceiling should still be preferable, in the long run.
From the school's perspective, the high performance grade is pretty much what they can do in the short run to recognise your good work.

there is a huge excess of Science teachers in service right now, so unfortunately the acceptance rate is much lower than we'd like it to be right now.

SEO PB ranges are higher for each grade, compared to GEO. C grade SEOs will receive more than 2 months' PB.
But yes, as a GEO you may be getting As and Bs regularly if you are good. As a SEO, it's hard to consistently get Bs.. much less A. So the extra may not mean that much.
