MINDEF DXO (All FAQ on it)

The security clearance process can take up to 1.5-2 months. Sometimes 3. Don't worry too much, if a verbal offer has been given, most likely it will go through. A matter of time.

I was shortlisted and called up to arrange for PT for the position of safety officer.
Any idea what is the job like? I very excited about this position.

Those bros and sis who had verbal offers 1.5-2months ago, how? Have you all signed the contract?

Have applied for Logistics Executive post. Went to PT three weeks ago. Have yet to receive any call up for interviews. Can anyone advise if there's still chance? or can I just take it as it's unsuccessful?

Going for PT on 12 Feb 2016.
Can bring calculator in? Everyone submit their hard copies of whatever they need on the PT test date???

wait one more month. usually they will schedule the interview within 4 weeks, but sometimes it takes longer. Govt HR depts tend to be inefficient.

can call and check on the application status.

my verbal was 2.5 months ago. and yup just signed it slightly more than a week ago. same situation as others, can start work but still pending medical.

in summary, interview was late oct. signed late jan.

I went for my unit preview last week. Read that some people get calls on the day itself but so far I haven't gotten any calls. Does anyone knows what's the time allowance I should give before I can assume (or notified) myself to be rejected?

from experience. you should call after 1.5 weeks or so. and i got the call 3 days after.

Hi, wonder if anyone from DXO/MINDEF here or who will know if i can apply for dxo, without local degree, but 5 years of public ministry experience? Female. Wonder what pay grade/rank is it pegged as in dxo?
