3 weeks after medical they called and told me to wait another 3-4 weeks. and i waited 3 weeks... so i guess the deadline is 1 more week? and nope i didnt call, im exercising my self control and be patient.

so did they really stick to the timeline and call in this 1 week?

I'm not the one that you were talking to but I just signed my contract with mindef recently.
They told me it would take 3-4 weeks from the verbal offer but they called up 5 weeks after that.
And by the way my medical result is still not out yet and they may terminate the contract if there's anything. So just wait patiently and hopefully they'll call you up soon!

If that's the case, will they inform you of the medical result? If not they can just terminate you out of the blue

They won't inform you of the results is everything is fine. If they contact me abt the results then it means something is wrong and they may terminate the contract i think.

Security Clearance
I was called to go down for some security verification after Mindef did the pre-employment security screening. Was told it will take about 2 hrs. Any idea what it is about??

same situation like you now. was told to wait 6 weeks and its been 4 weeks after verbal now. no news yet too.
so what recent development did u encounter?
