Same, i joined from private and I do have a car now. But joining DXO means I took a huge paycut which I feel that I cannot afford the luxury of driving to work (even tho carpark is foc, I have to pay for petrol). Do you stay v far from office?

I am staying in Tampines. If I don't drive, I will have to move out very early in the morning as I also need to drop off the kids on the way to work 🙃

Nobody knows. But a lot of people say if you got at least 2nd upper and male then join. Else rethink very carefully why you want join, there are better options out there with better working environments. Unless of course CS is exactly what you want; then welcome.

You don't get rich by joining CS, you join it for the guaranteed rice bowl. If you're concerned about pay then work in private and join CS later.
