OT a bit. I heard from my recruiter in MNC diploma holder with more than 10 year experience can become principal engineer earning 7.5k basic excluding about 2 month bonus and 1 month AWS
Do you think this is possible?

And if I recall correctly, salary statistics usually also include bonuses. Perhaps only exclude employer CPF

Average salary in Singapore now is 5783
Median monthly gross income is 4563
It is better to use median than average for better assessment.
So 7500 is way higher than both average and median.
Diploma holders can't get that amount unless they are really capable.
But MNC is different from GLC. So we need to stop using GLC mentality to compare with MNC.
