most likely they just want to armchio at auditors. sinkie pwn sinkie mah. they know auditors mostly bbfa, are boring and only know how to OT like a DOG. Those who stay too long in audit are automatically filtered out cause they are most likely siaolang

Thanks to the partners and Ex mentor who guide me, and provided lots of support during my time in audit.
Was getting 2.5- 3 months bonus for every year during audit, took paycut to join commercial so that i can have different skills sets in my CV.
Left during SM level, right now in mnc as regional fm, forever grateful and appreciate to the connection that i had build over the past years allow me to land on this job.

im ex big 4 and i work to 2-4am on a regular basis, and that is me just trying to keep my job. I do my job as expected of me, no higher, no wayang. I dont bother being high performer due to the attention as well as to stay below radar. so to those who talk about quiet quitting, i'm not sure how u do it.
im quite certain those who talk about quiet quitting are either only associate level or not from a big 4

I am from one of midtier.
Well, i dont fancy abt big4 name after hitting M level. I treasure to work with the great team and network that I had build.
Back then ,
1)Reject PwC senior , and M level offer
2)Reject Ey M offer (2 years back)
So? Whats your point to differentiate big4 and non big4 ppl?

So auditors dont need review CG / Other information ?
AC report just roll forward last yr? Did u sit in for Ac meeting before?
I suggest you should just quit audit if u are still in the industry

You can ignore him la. People just like to differentiate themselves from others to feel good.
Even among B4, one firm may think of themselves as better than another.
Even within the same firm, one department may not respect another department.
Within the same department, even those from earlier batches don’t want to associate with the newer batches.
It just never ends…
