Can someone share how many leave days does big 4 give for annual leave.
Say for example SM level, working at least 12 years

Trying to compare to public sector-> they get 24 days

Deloitte - Flexi-leave. No numeric quantum of leave as long as you finish your work!

If you want to compare against public sector, then there is no need for comparison. WLB related factors are just not great in Big4.

It is probably better during Covid period. But pre and likely post Covid, taking leave is always abit strange especially for those 1-2 days leave. Block leave is better as colleagues plus most clients have the decency to respect you, whereas short leave can be quite bad. In general, people may feel like they have not taken leave or do not feel rested.

Last time when I was associate I hated when people don’t respect my leave

But after I turned Senior I realise you should handover properly before you go on leave if you don’t want to be disturbed.

Else if the house is on fire, and you’re the only person who has the key, of course people will come look for you. Make sure you give your Senior a copy of the key.

But the house is always on fire.

Trust me, it would have been worse without the increment. It is "less bad" with the increment.
