Graduated with an accounting degree from local uni but have worked in non-acc/non-fin industry for past 2 years. Am strongly considering to apply to big 4.

How much can one expect to earn after 8 years in a big 4 firm? Assuming slightly above average performance.

Don't expected to be compensated well/rewarded for your above average performance - their bonuses for 4-starrers are still sh*t

8 years would be a senior M/junior SM thereabout, but you should only expect ~8k

Am trying to get into audit firm from corp acc
2years+ work exp with acc degree

Am interested in advisory and valuation
So far no response, friends are mostly in audit

Is it easier to ask friends for advice to refer into audit?
