Not everyone can get into big4 tbh, selection criteria is quite tough and interviewers have very high standards. Those who cant will have to settle for mid tiers.

Pls lah B4 hires so many jhks with lousy English and questionable qualifications. Plus pay like crap. Any local grad cannot get into B4, must be really cmi. Especially if from big 3 local uni Acc course.
B4 selection criteria is far from tough. It's literally the last choice now for those who can't get into tech or banks or MA prog

Obviously he is talking about fresh grad where majority of the A1s are local unis. That is where and when the standards are still there. It is after the local uni grads found out how shitty the place is and left in droves that the msians can slip in as mid joiners.

It is quite competitive at the A1 fresh grad level, definitely not enough b4 spots to accommodate all the local uni grads.. Not talking about senior associate level.

Does NTU still have the "can only apply to 2 out of 4 big4" rules? Skirt around the school rules and apply on your own for internship / job application for big 4 rules, and it should be fine.
It is more of a (fairly low) probability if you get cut instead of a strict criteria when applying for big4 audit as local 3 uni graduates. Big4 audit interviews are probably one of the friendliest and least prep work interview one can ever get. Even friendlier than my interview for a part time job pre uni days.

I've had offers from 3 of the big 4 and I'm not even a local uni grad. If you have interned before in audit at any of the big 4, you should be fine.
