lol nvm saw your correction. with how auditors are banned from non-GL accounting roles these days, who would wanna join audit.

Nobody cares about gen z boycotting audit lol

EY is currently doing a project where they are planning to hire lower qualified ppl to create a shared service to do lower level audit work like confirmations, vouching, recomputations,etc. basically all the work currently done by A1. Cause they know there is lesser and lesser supply of A1

They are targeting to hire ppl with lower qualifications so that they can be paid lower instead of paying A1 to do simple job.

This project called Cadet, short for Audit delivery team

Basically the Gen Z destroy the industry themselves

I guess ISCA and ACRA are begging the Big4 not to do that

Also in future there may be no internship opportunities
