Way too high from Y1 senior associate onwards. 5.5k is closer to Assistant Manager pay, and no Y1 Manager will make 12k, more like 6-7k.

Approximately (but which I believe is quite accurate):
Y1 associate: 2800
Y2 associate: 3300
Y1 Senior associate: 3700
Y2 Senior associate: 4200
Assistant Manager: 4700 - 6000 (Several levels of AM)
Manager: 6000 - 9000 (Several levels of M)
Associate Director: 9000 - 11000 (Several levels of AD)
Director: 12000 - 16000 (Several levels of D)
Partner: >20000 (Highly variable; Salaried partnership / Equity partnership)

yep around there; my friends who just started at EY and DT are getting 2850 and 2950 respectively.

Pay will depend on department though, right? Salaries in the Audit function will differ from those in Tax and Consulting.
