All big 4 do not give 13 mth. Performance bonus range from 0.5-2 mth depending on individual.

May I also check if one will take a substantial pay cut when moving from big 4 to commercial. Seems like big 4 really a sweatshop. 12.5 to 14 mths pay package, low starting pay and long hrs. They really did a good job in conning naive brand conscious fresh grads.

Advisory roughly the same. Some firms offer a bit higher, others the same.

What I heard from my friends from Big4 is that their starting pay is low but give big increases every year that after 10 years if you are high performer can already reach 15k+ with bonus up to 9-10 months, so total pay can go >300k.

thats IF you reach partner. if you dont, its over.
only 5% of the cohort or less make partner. usually these are identified from almost year 1.
pls also note that big4 only hires from our local unis - pay and career progression are different for sim/sim-uol/unisim/sim-whatever-they-have

number of weeks in a year = 52
52/4 = 13 months
if you receive your salary weekly, you get paid for 52 weeks. but if you receive your salary monthly, you get paid only for 48 weeks.
do you understand? or is this too complex for you?
