That being said, there is an SIM Graduate who took a contract job at our company and eventually got converted. I would say the hardest part is getting in but once you do work hard to show that you can do well in a working environment then paper qualifications don’t matter any more.

But you have to be honest and say that if everything else is equal, local uni grad > private U. It’s just a sad truth, butnplay with the cards you’re dealt with
Which part of banking are you working in?

Yes. Cold honest truth but SIMGE people don't seem willing to take the red pill.

Exactly. If given a choice to go to a local U, all these SIM kids will 100% take it even though they say SIM is part of LSE or whatever LOL

You are wrong. I chose to study in SIM because I want to be street smart which is an important asset lacking in kids from NUS and NTU! I got $3700 without a honours with my SIM degree due to my street smartness! Fxxk NUS.

Of course.

That is a great question to pose them.

yes SIM teaches them to be street smart; To be jobless or receive very little pay and sleep on the streets.

Just like stray dogs and cats on the street

The social stigma of going to SIM is always there. If you cannot enter local uni due to various reasons, stay resilient, show tenacity and stay humble. The issue with a smooth sailing life is always complacency, pride and an attitude of having/knowing it all.

Not all local uni students have smooth sailing lives. Many have met with setbacks and learn from it.

Difference is that local universities will always trump distance learning programs like simge courses in all matters, whatever the situation is.

Distance learning students got to accept this reality.
