I cant compare this with other peers as there are many factors affecting how much a person can achieve.

I am 30 y.o. 5 years of experience as I had a 1 year sabatical break.

I am in trade finance, not a managerial role. 95 to 96k p.a.

The reason you've been getting poor callback rate is due to your poor track record. You've stated that you have no prior work experience or internships for the whole of 3 years, and this signals to HR that you aren't really a desirable candidate. Your 2nd upper means nothing as it's from SIM. I know peers who have no issues with being employed before results are out, and one thing in common is that they had internships during their course of study, so it's obvious who the problem is.

Anyone is in or knows about the accounting Big 4 Deals Advisory roles as a fresh grad? I heard they pay more than audit/tax.

Not much more. Maybe 10-20% more comparing the same pay grades in audit and advisory.

Well, even for local u students its hard to secure a position in Advisory. If you have an offer from big 4 for advisory division, go for it. The bonus is alot.

I was like you, graduated in 2017 with a second upper, didnt have any related experience or internship as during my school days I joined an insurance company. After graduation, I went into corporate line for 2 months and started with a pathetic diploma pay (2.2k). Subsequently joined a small audit firm to learn and it fetched me 2.5k. Now after working for a year, I hopped back to corporate line and was offered by quite a few companies with pay increment more than 20%. Oh and I received an offer from one of the Big Four after my one year of experience.

20% increment of 2.5K is 3K, which you could have gotten during graduation.

Ive gotten more than 20%. The lowest offer currently is 3k lol. And highest 4k+.

Fresh grad from UOL getting 3k starting pay is tough. Unless you go into personal Banking. Entering the big four is almost impossible Unless you have connection.
