I don't get why SIM students are discriminated. As a SIM student myself. Yes, we didn't do well in poly. Yes, we literally "paid" to enter. But I challenge NUS students out there to try SIM-UOL past year papers and see the quality SIM has to offer.

Why don't you come and try NUS papers instead? Oh wait, you can't...

Why do you feel so threatened by private uni students?
Tbf, all these hateful comments coming in actually make me feel better about being a private uni LOL.
The very fact that local uni students/grads feel the need to stalk and lurk our forums 24/7 just to “one-up” us over the Internet is so pathetic.

This bro has a point.
Anw, let’s just all be nice to each other lah. Uni is not the be all and end all. Besides, it’s unfair to cast judgement purely based on A levels / Poly results
Private uni students, as long as you guys work hard, you will have a shot!

Uol grad here who went on to do further studies in local uni after working for a few years.
The good thing local uni has is grade moderation. I.e. even if you think you have done badly for a module, you won't fail it.
I have failed 2 papers in UOL before.
Hope that there will be more sharing from UOL graduates here.

Yes private uni students will have a shot.
They deserved to be shot by disgracing their parents and destiny to be a good for nothing throughout life!

Why do you have so much pent up anger?
Is it because of the fact that you went to a local uni and still can mistake 'have a shot' for 'getting shot'?
LOL, some local uni students really do crack me up.

Somehow I get the feeling that either:
1) people are too blind to realise that being triggered is exactly what the trolls feed off;
2) the people who are triggered and trolls are very much the same person posting, aim is to stir up emotions by creating divisions...
Ignorance is bliss in this case. No need for meaningless comebacks... Maybe I’ll get trolled for this post haha
