Coming from a current CM, it really depends on the CC one is posted to. Each CC has its own culture and norms. Some CCs may be better to work in, some may be slightly more challenging to work in.

The job is definitely challenging (weekends burnt, shift work etc.) but if you go with a positive and open mindset, it would be fine. After all, we always have new things to learn.

As for the reporting part, usually both CMEs and CMs report to the DCD.

Anyone went September interview got any updates??

I read about 7 pages and think what's so big deal with constituency director title and pay? I worked as a admin staff in a MNC supporting a junior manager. His entertainment allowance was already $10K per month. Not to mention pay check and housing bonus etc. Why stay in public sector?
