just curious, how old are you?
Cause I think only the older people won’t believe in e-sports. It is a thing only among we younger people.

22, studying in local uni. there are e-sports cca in local unis, i think they focus on inter-uni friendly/ competitive matches. e-sports should be a cca thing to boost your credential as a team player, not the "main badge" to flex to HR ya. at the end of the day, gpa still matters.
sadly, i am not one of those focusing on e-sports as i don't find it interesting to sit on my computers and watch live stream. maybe e-sports are for youngsters like ite/ poly kids with more free time to watch i guess.

yeah agreed
if TS did esports and still went to local uni then sure, he has a chance.
but private uni + 0 relevant experience, not even a single tech internship, wanna work in tech? lmfao 0 chance.
anyone who thinks esports is relevant experience is either
1. SIM retard
2. never work in tech before

I don’t think anyone is saying esports is relevant experience to tech.
The issue is whether it is meaningful to include in resume to explain the gap in years when applying for jobs. Or leave there gap there and explain only / if asked.

Can try your luck don’t put first.. then see whether they ask lor
If you put and the HR don’t like, maybe get filtered out before reaching the interview.
If you explain during the interview at least it’s face to face.

Read first page. Also, first time writing Resume? do you include non-professional unrelated reasons as to why you have gap years?

I was also unemployed for 2 years due to COVID. Company cut losses... so I wrote it in my resume that my company fired me and due to COVID, there was a hiring freeze in a lot of tech companies.
Interviewers were all very understanding and it helped explain my 2 year gap in employment.
TS don't listen to these losers, put your esports experience in resume.

You high?
Do you even know what a Resume is?
let me guess, you're still Unemployed. Rofl, keep playing your games and fapping.
