You better stay in the CS. And work harder. If you are bored, transfer to another dept or ministry. You earn too much to restart.

Yes very dead just like the current job market unless you aim for SMEs/low tier companies that pays < 4k for fresh grads. SWE still pays more than cyber. If you wanna do cyber be prepared to continually to learn for the rest of your career unless you do GRC.
