No bonus? Not sure where you got this idea from. GS has been quite consistent with strong starting and year-end bonus in snt. Total comp looks something like 150+ 80

1. Everyone who goes to MBB knows the pay discount to IB
2. Everyone who goes to MBB knows the good **** comes later when you make senior role/partner (which comes earlier and easier than IB)

Probably Tier2 consulting or Big 4 consulting only lmao

To be fair to this person, the pay difference used to be much smaller just a few years ago. Nowdays banking junior pay has increased so much already

my pals at mck / bcg burning out at EM / proj leader level. That's the level where instead of reporting to your partner/manager, you have to manage your client. They all want to exit into industry. Good luck making partner. It's not the hardest, it's just about whether you are willing to make the tradeoff, but no one sane and with a family really wants to be beholden to clients.

jpm is always the highest (not considering bonus) n they bumped to 155k. i also heard gs no bonus for the first few years(not sure how many though) because they already incorporated the bonus into the offer package already so it’s higher than the other BBs.

You are highly misinformed bro. Highest on the street are HSBC and BOFA. And GS combining their bonus into base is utter rubbish please dont anyhow shoot from the outside
