Good move to revise the AVP and VP ranks....always find it stupid why they have 2 levels of AVP and 3 levels of VP.
But now they have 3 levels of MD lol

Anyone know how’s the culture like in BOS? Fresh grad here. Recently received a job offer from them at starting 4K per month, as a funds operation associate. For the salary, I think it’s quite alright tho, given that firstly am a fresh grad from uni, and secondly am jumping to a new industry(?)…. Like my major is not in finance domain etc.

up and rising private bank in asia. on an intense growth trajectory and hiring massively in all functions from RMs, Ops, Risk/Compliance, etc. Heard pretty desirable bonus too. You are in good hands.
Are you joining a grad prog? Are there any perks/benefits aside from the 4k base?

Oh ok I see. That’s good to hear though. However, I am actually on a contract (which may be able to convert to permanent after that or so, not 100% confirm of course)… so not much benefits I guess. Not that I really mind tho, as tbh, I just want to have some experiences within the financial sector. And also I might be going for further studying/masters after the contract end. But yea, I was just curious about their culture there as I have never work in a bank before.

congratulations on securing the role nonetheless! maximise the learning during your contract and it may possibly open up new doors for you. tbh, my take is that today's job market is not great at all, so to even get an employment is a luxury more than anything else. 4k is not shabby as well. years ago, local banks would offer contract role of 3k or 3.3k max.
