AVP role in DBS T&M
Hi, is there anyone that knows what is the typical range for base pay and bonus for a AVP Sales role in DBS treasury and markets? I may potentially go there, depending on offer (no figures given to me so far).

So far I’ve been trying to paint a story where my career was accelerated and I’ve done assignments normally performed by those with much more experience. So while I lose in the quantitative “years of experience”, I do have the “actual experience”.
Does that make sense? In less than 2 years I’ve done things where even those with 20 years might not be familiar with.

Interviewers are not dumb so they will tell you to peddle the bs somewhere else.

Anyone knows the basic pay range for a junior avp (4-5yrs) in local banks vs foreign banks? Non ops middle/back office like audit, comp, risk mgmt etc.

Pay so high then don't need to leave.

It depends on the needs of the hiring bank as well as the calibre of the candidate. Is difficult to provide you with a sure answer in this instance. If you are from program with existing bank no point to hop unless from a local bank to a BB bank. However, is a mountain to conquer unless you are able to find favour. Generally the latter prefers to hire from another BB bank for obvious reasons.

Sorry to interrupt. But what would these "obvious reasons" be? Have read that it's harder to go from local to BB but not exactly sure why.
