If you're from these companies and hoping to join GovTech for $ then you need to know

1) GovTech salary is taxpayer moneys.
2) Tech industry salaries are inflated. There's a reason why bubble is bursting.

Can join other tech companies that are still hiring. e.g. ByteDance. Pretty sure they can dangle the cash, but how sustainable, no one knows.

Applied for Product Manager role in GovTech. HR sent me a agile test and told me it won't be hard. I read up a bit and attempted the test but at the end of the quiz there was a automated feedback saying it did not pass (the quiz gave several textbook questions about agile,kanban,scrum applications but in private sector we dont apply it so exactly).

for sure. 2 product manager to be hired. one failed agile , the other passed. why should they be paid the same.
