This would be top end SVP or early ED at HSBC. Bonus should be $100k with movement in both direction.

Question was should I be asking Band 3 or Band 4 at HSBC?
Was AVP for 2 years and then promoted to VP for last 2.5 years looking at am next move to HSBC then what grade do I ask ?
Looking at a base of 300k from my current 250k ( non including bonus)
Role - Private Banking with top 5 pcnt performer.

I was also wondering what is 'both direction'. I think it mean $100k +/- tens of thousands.

Anyway, private banker, may I ask your age? Did you get where you are based on hard work or based more on connections?

You are probably looking for a Band 3 which will be Executive Director level. Do keep in mind that HSBC's ranks are inflated so that is the equivalent of a SVP outside.

Am 35 with 12 years or work exp
Started at retail level at age 23
Hard work would say than connections as am not a local so had to build connections from scratch
Have come from another country to singapore at that age
Stared working at 22. ( had joined school early so postgraduated early )
