LTA (Land Transport Authority)

I find lta is quite funny dun like candidates with lots of experiences.
Dun understand why such a bias.
They sent in rejection email stating that they found some with closer experiences.
This rejected person has more experiences that the shortlisted for interview one.
These 2 person are same company and same project.

I attended interview on Dec and within a week, the HR sent me the reference check form. After that have no news from HR for more than 5mths. I contacted HR but HR says no update. My application shown as “In Process” till now. The HR just dissapear and no reply to email. Anyone experience this before?

Is there anyone else in the cc list that you can contact? Having said that 5 months is way too long.. may want to restart your search if you had stopped..

That is weird and unprofessional. Never experienced this, at the ref check stage they were already trying to firm up my offer so ~1 week aft ref check i receive verbal offer then they send the contract for acceptance via workday.

Its not discriminate. its a open secret.. u are lucky if they even consider your application. In other agency, its outright reject.

The ppl that I know around me having the same procedure as u. No idea why my case so different. The HR not willing to share anything and this is my sixth month waiting.......

If that the case why HR cant just tell me directly? The HR just tell me no updates so far........dont know if i should continue to wait.
