Thank you for sharing, and apologies for being unclear. I don’t actually mean highest possible, but the realistic career ending point position/job grade for rank and file graduates. Coming from the point if stars don’t align at all but I didn’t screw up and hentak kaki either, what is the least I can expect to attain as my career ending point.

If you’re not trolling then I think it’s a pretty good offer. Back when I started I was only offered 4.7k ( NUS Eng FCH, NS). In fact, I suspect they already factored in the public-sector wide salary adjustment in your 4.8k, which is a good hint for those of us who are still waiting for adjustment announcement.

For farmers, DD would be the end game. But even then that’s a slow climb spanning 2 or even 3 decades if stars don’t align. Beyond that, CE and senior mgmt have to endorse you so you jolly well have made some profound contribution/impact to your org.

OP on the question on top here. And thank you for sharing. May I ask then what is the salary ceiling of a DD in LTA and what is the ceiling then for 1 grade before DD (AD I presume)?

LTA offer waiting time
How long does LTA takes to give offer after submitting all forms for background check?
