I have been working for close to 10 years. I came in from another stat board. Yet here I am still stuck at XT6 getting lower pay than the young staff. Why? Why is it like that? I have been taking on so many more roles. Now I kena arrow for goods receive role.

I don't get it man. When will life be fairer?

Sorry to say but I am getting promoted from XT6 to 7 within 2.5 years. Initial appraisal ungraded, first full appraisal B, this year B+.

I think it all boils down to whether your RO fights for you, and whether your Dir concurs with ur RO.

I've seen ridiculous cases of people getting promoted at their first full appraisal. Life is just so unfair. It's all politics. Work smart, not hard. Play the game, don't let it play you.

There are also cases where people with eca/cca will get better grades, hence, putting them on the queue for promotion. Not necessarily about your main job. Yes, it is all about politics and the continual traditional scholar mindset. I wonder how far can htx goes with the current management.

Got low balled badly... I'm XT6 with close to 10yoe at 7+k with 13th month incorporated and 4% adjustment. Waiting to see how much is promotion increment this year.

what is your salary when came in as XT6? and how many exp you had before coming in?

Got chance also not enough. Need to hold important roles and be high profile enough.

Actually even that is not enough. Most most most important thing is your director likes you. If not, u do everything also no use.

Is the email broadcasted to all? Didn't receive any info on this.. anyway congrats to all promotees. As the above posters said, work smart not work hard. Want to promote get better at playing the game. Especially at this agency politics is overwhelming, can't even ignore..
