Hi everyone. Honest opinion, I’ve been offered by a recruiter for the role of Business Expert.

I am a newbie with a background in SaaS sales. The title
sounds fancy but is this role purely Retail?? Like manning the shopfront etc. If so, are there any progression to business development dept at HQ? Or do Business Experts just become Business Pro and their career is capped at retail?

I think ur career path is never capped anywhere in apple. Just do a random search on linked in and u will see so many ppl ended up being managers in campus who started off as retail sales, specialist, etc. Etc.

You'll be based in Retail, in the back with your own place to contact business customers
There will be times you'll be on the floor to help with sales should there be a need i believe.

As previous guy mentioned, you can definitely move around to go corporate or to manager roles if you want to stay in retail

apple used to hire many many years ago before the millenium, but retrenched and left for other places. don't trust apple anymore
