The range is subjective. I have some colleagues work like 10 years still E6. But their salary should have increased with annual increment, won't be stagnated at 6k max.
I started E6, draw 6k before pro-rated increment.

the standard is 'good contributor', go read the 'personal assessment' guideline in sharepoint.
HR have the power to suka suka lower your rating.
they will cite "calibration' as a reason.
So dont be too happy even if your superiors give you 'good rating'

Me too. But I diploma holder. Offered e5. 3.8k. 7yoe. Rejected the hr outright. They say may not get a revised offer. Said I m ok if it does not come. Hr out of touch with market range.

What's e5? I got 12 years experience dip holder, I was a staff engineer at a MNC drawing close to 7.7k excluding bonus and Aws when I Was invited for an interview but was told my education level is at most e5. Didn't know what was that but the HR was quite taken aback by my current pay that day. That's a red flag for me so I declined the interview. I was promoted to Principal Engineer with a decent increment a couple of years later.
