You expect tax payers’ monies to be used without proper paperwork, no accountability, and be friends with contractors?

not so easy lah. need a gd degree, pleasant looking, know how to talk to pass interview. Although Engr side easier to get in, down side, pay lower than IT people. although buy computer about the same thing as buying a tank ! but got extra allowance. trick is to get thru into engr, then change project to cross over tp get allowance, easy peezy

i thot Dsta pay by the type of Degree & class, whether 2nd upper? So a 1st class computer sc will get higher pay than a electrical engineering, never mind if you write paper to buy tanks or plane and not write pytjon codes? also, never mind how u get in. it's about the money, no need annal about hands on work in DSO, ST.

no diff between a CS degree and a EE degree. only difference between honours class.

Really find it interesting how you all put things into such simplistic perspective. It’s easy to be envious (jealous) of others but how many of you can be Steve Jobs or Mark Zuckerberg? If you are not cut for it, it’ll be difficult for you, regardless how simple it may look like for the others. Like how some civil servants salivate about pte sectors earning big bucks. Digital, higher pay, need coding test. Acquisition, just interview, lower pay. As long as good Computing or Engineering degree is fine, the class matters, 2nd upper is higher pay also. HR will explain to u when they offer

EE degree also can break into digital

To those who accepted TGP, what stage are you at now? security clearance done? When are you planning yo start, June July or August?
