Manager < 3 yrs experience?
Does anyone know what is the pay structure that I'll get?
Has anyone been in this organisation before, were they the previous WDA (Singapore Workforce Development Agency)? I am particularly interested in workforce/labour related jobs.
As I have just graduated not long ago, looking for a good job now.

Pay is typical civil service fresh grad lah, this sort of lower end stat board all degree grads by default will join as "manager", inflated title only. Their so call "senior manager" is just senior exec or associate in the private sector.

dun understand why public sector also join the bandwagon of giving useless inaccurate titles. almost all my friends working for the gov is some sort of manager or director, only those very low level manual labour or clerk is not a manager/director.

They are doing this to cater to the Gen Y/Z millennials who are hung up on social prestige and glamorous name cards.
20 years ago, a manager in a MNC was paid $5,000. Now 20 years later instead of manager pay moving up to $10,00 to account for inflation, what we have is the jobs themselves get inflated whereby junior staff who are paid as low as $3,000 call themselves managers.

Bank also same ma. Everybody either vp or avp.
To retain talent, either title or money.
Money is expensive. Title is cheap, plus when they communicate with public, public feel happy. Govt send so impt ppl to do my stuff.
Communicate with clients, client think this bank good, send high level executive to my small company.
I mean same as army ma, last time nco is corporal, now easy easy get 3sg.
Police also abolish rank of constable.
Times have changed. Title inflation is inevitable.
