Be happy with your increment. You had your oct increment last year, as well as MOE Connect plan etc and other benefits that other public officers do not have.

Yes agree, MI dependent on CEP and perf grade.

It all depends on the situation; if CEP is currently higher than the current rank, the increment would be higher to spread out the salary increments. But perf grade will come in to provide greater differentiation.

9.24pm poster here (lol)...

As mentioned earlier by me and those who are familiar with how MI works, the following is expected:

2014 (MX12/B): $2xx (Got promoted. Exclude PI)

2015 (MX11/C): $2xx (Your CEP maintained but since you're in higher grade, your MI for MX11 is higher than MX12 even though you get C this year)

OR

2015 (MX11/C): $3xx (Your CEP has been upgraded to MX10 or MX9 so not only you receive higher MI because you're now in a higher grade, having an upgraded CEP entitles you to receive more MI)

Pretty good, starting pay is in the 4.5k region for 2nd upper with NS. As for career progression, not so clear, but I do know that several years down the road, if you're at least an average performer in the scheme, you'll almost certainly get sponsored to do post-graduate studies, either Masters or Phd at good overseas institutions.

But it is quite a prestigious scheme of service in the government so expect it to be competitive.

4.9k for first class with ns. Atleast 200k p.a. in ur mid-late 30s, assuming u can keep pace with the retention CEP and not asked to leave.
