2020: 75k
- interned at VISA and got a full-time offer, 75k annual
- I bought dogecoin around mid november 2020, about 20k SGD total
2021: 280k
- Left VISA to join Paypal, 82k annual
- Sold dogecoin, I forgot what was the rate ( 98x+ ) but I got back 190k+ SGD minus fees.
2022: 123k
- Paypal, 85k, 3% annual bump
- Placed 90k bet on Jake Paul vs Silva fight where I bet that Jake would win and he did. I knew all his matches were rigged for him to win the moment he beat Askren and a few others. Anyway won 38k from a 90k bet at a -240 rate.
In total I got about 478k SGD.
If it helps, I'm 25, half American male. Paypal is offering to relocate me to their US headquarters so I'll probably take it and bail. Singapore is too boring and the SWE pay is abysmal.

Congratulations and thanks for the advice. My spouse and I are your typical average couple. We worked hard and managed to clear our HDB mortgage a few years ago. Our CPF OA and SA are growing and we try our best to top up our SA to earn higher interest. We may not be able to retire so soon maybe 58 years old. We consider ourselves lucky and successful as we are also debt free and can retire. Our CPF Life can give us maybe $5000+. Our children can give us money too when we retire. We are lucky to have good children.

$5k pm is a lot of money for a retired couple. Usually you just need $3k pm. Assuming you don’t own a car. $5k pm will give you the option to enjoy a more expensive overseas holidays. Try to travel due non peak seasons as they are a lot cheaper.
