I believe.

Because this forum draws the high fliers here to begin with.

You anyhow throw a rock also will hit a first class honors graduate here.

I retired in my 40s and never looked back. Best decision in my life. How did I do it? First, I was a high flyer earning good money. I used my bonuses to invest and did quite well. I also decided to downgrade my home to live a simpler life. Instead of buying brand new cars, I bought a used continental car paid in full cash. So I am now living a very modest life in a condo and driving a used continental.

So the decision to retire depends on your desired retirement lifestyle. If you desire to retire in a GCB and owning multiple sports cars, then you may not ever retire. If you are happy retiring simply, living in a condo and driving a used car, then you can retire easily in Singapore. Anyway, all the best.

First class honours does not mean they are high flyers.
