Just turned 55. Decided to retire. I have $200k cash to spend over the next 10 years. My small flat is paid up. I知 a simple guy who just need $1.5k pm. When I reach 65, my CPF Life will pay me $2k pm. I知 tired of working so I decided to retire early. Actually not so early. I know people who retired earlier. I think there are high flyers in this forum who retired at 45.

That is considered pretty good actually. No point in comparing with others, there are always someone above you.

You have done well in life. Not many people can retire at 55 years old. There are many who still have housing loan. Your savings is quite a lot. If you need more money, you can rent out your spare rooms. I think you don稚 need to rent out your rooms since your money is enough. Enjoy your retirement. Relax and enjoy!

Retiring at 55 is wonderful. By then you would be able to collect your CPF after setting aside for your Retirement account. If your home is debt free, then you have a big burden off your mind. Assuming you don't drive, drink or smoke, your monthly expenses is not high. You can cook simple healthy meals and exercise everyday. You can live a long life.
